This boom was on a Clark Lime 990. The operator (new to the crane) did not know where to put the belly band on the off-set jib and boom section. So he wrapped the wire rope around the lattice and cords, then when he installed the back-stay lines, he put them on the wrong ears on the boom and did not have a straight pull on them. Note the bend in both lines on the boom.
